Seanergy Maritime Adds Capesize Bulker

Athens-based dry bulk shipping specialist Seanergy Maritime Holdings has received a 178,838dwt Capesize dry bulker, renamed to Lordship and built in 2010 by South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries. Lordship is the first of two Capesize ships the company has agreed to acquire for a total of US$20.75m per vessel.
According to VesselsValue, the two vessels are ER Bayern and ER Bavaria.
The ships are a part of Hamburg-based ship management company E.R. Schiffahrt's fleet of 20 bulk carriers.
Including the newly-delivered Lordship, Seanergy Maritime currently owns nine dry bulk carriers, composed of seven Capesizes and two Supramaxes, with a combined cargo carrying capacity of approximately 1,324,391 DWT and an average age of 7.9 years.
