2010-built bulk carrier Trident Challenger, arrested in early September, has been put up for auction in Singapore, according to the Supreme Court of Singapore. VesselsValue data showed that the market value of Trident Challenger is US$9.4m.

The closing date for bids for the 56,543dwt bulker is Dec. 8 this year at 3.00 pm.

The Supreme Court said that the net value of bunkers on board the bulker is SG$218,535 which is excluded from the sale and have to be paid by the buyer.

At present, the 33,044gt bulker is at Singapore's Eastern Bunkering B Anchorage.
