Singapore-based shipping company Eastern Pacific Shipping has placed an order for two 115,000dwt ECO Aframax tankers with the Philippines' shipbuilder Hanjin Subic, showed data provided by VesselsValue.

The contract, which will see the company pay US$43m for each ship, includes an option for two more tankers of the same capacity.

Featuring 21,124 MT, the new ships are scheduled to join their owner in 2018.
