Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (NACKS), a large-scale shipbuilding joint venture between China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO) and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. (KHI), held a naming and delivery ceremony for a 61,000dwt ECO Class bulk carrier Pacific Ability built for the country's shipowner China Merchants Energy Shipping Co. Ltd (CMES) on Aug. 25, according to a domestic shipping news report.

So far, CMES has been operating a bulker fleet of 6.13 million dwt, the report added.
