Chinese shipbuilder Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. held a naming ceremony for two 21,000cbm liquefied ethylene gas (LEG) carriers. The two vessels were named as “EMPERY” and “ELLINGTON”.

The owner of the newbuilds is Singapore-based Petredec which placed an order of four 21,000cbm LEG carriers at Jiangnan Shipyard.

"EMPERY" and "ELLINGTON" are the first two in the series.
