Bermuda-based tanker owner Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has received Nordic Castor – the second of four Suezmax vessels acquired this May.

NAT inked a deal with an undisclosed party to buy the four 150,000dwt tankers for a price of US$106m.

The company said it expects the third vessel to be delivered within the end of June 2016 or in early July and the fourth vessel soon thereafter.

The four tankers were built at a Japanese shipyard between 2000 and 2004.

Following the delivery of these four vessels, the companys fleet will consist of 30 Suezmaxes, including two newbuildings from Korea, scheduled for delivery in August 2016 and January 2017.
