Taiwan's China Steel Express Corporation has offloaded a vintage capesize, the 1997-built 154,000dwt China Steel Express, sending it to scrap at US$290 ldt.

The Taiwanese owner has reportedly offloaded three capes so far in 2016. In April, the 1997-built China Steel Trader was sold, while in March it sold the

1997-built China Steel Investor and 1998-built China Steel Developer, all for scrap.

China Steel Express Corporation is listed in Equasis fleet register with 26 ships.
