Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. under CSSC held a christening ceremony for the world's largest liquefied ethylene gas (LEG) carrier built for London-based Navigator Gas on May 3, according to a domestic shipping news report.

The 37,500cbm carrier was named "Navigator Gas", which will be delivered to the owner at the end of May.

The vessel was developed and designed by the Chinese shipbuilder. It is the first one in a series of four. The four vessels will be mainly used to carry out trans-Atlantic LEG transportation.
