Chinese shipbuilder Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard Co., Ltd. signed a newbuild contract with a compatriot shipowner for the construction of a 2,500teu containership on March 25, according to a domestic shipping news report.

The vessel will measure 179.9m in length overall, 32.18m in breadth moulded, and 16m in depth moulded, with the designed draft of 9.50m.
