Taipei-based shipping company Wisdom Marine Lines has decided to add a 6,400dwt LPG carrier to its fleet, showed the company's latest update.

The company's Board of Directors approved the acquisition of the vessel, which will join Wisdom Marine from Japanese shipbuilder Murakami Hide.

The shipping company said that the total price of the vessel will not exceed JPY2.3bn (US$20.1m).

Wisdom Marine owns and operates a fleet of 114 vessels. It recorded a net income of US$70.8m in 2015, representing an increase of 19 percent compared with a year earlier.
