Vympel Shipyard on Dec. 24 held a keel-laying ceremony for Hydrographic Survey Vessel of Project 19910 ordered for the Russian Defense Ministry's Navigation and Oceanography Dept., according to the shipbuilder.

The 19910-design cutter will be named "Nicholas Skosyrev" and is scheduled for completion and delivery by Nov. 25, 2019. The ship will enter service with the Northern Fleet's hydrographic service and will be homeported in Arkhangelsk.
