New York-listed Greece Shipowner, Navios Maritime Holdings placed order in the end of June 2011 for one 81,600-dwt panamax bulker to shipyard in South Korea with delivery by Apr 2012. Also, Navios contracted optional four 82,000 dwt with H2 2013 - H1 2014 of delivery. 
Ship value for one firm order is $35.5m and the rest four is about $35m per vessel.
After resale purchase of one capesize in Feb 2010, Navios recently invested in newbuilding bulkers.
Now Navios has newbuilding bulker's orderbook of 17 vessels, including four ships of option, which are three capesize, ten panamax, three handymax and one handysize. Navios seems to convert its main segment into medium-size from capesize.
