Viking Supply Ships signed a new contract with an oil and gas company for "Vidar Viking" starting from Dec. 2, 2015 in direct continuation of present contract. The duration of the new contract is for 8 months firm, plus options to extend the contract with a total of 6 months.

The new contract value including options is around US$45m.
