Shipbuilder China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. handed over the seventh and the eighth 48,000dwt bulk carriers in a series to the compatriot operator China Shipping Bulk Carrier Co., Ltd. in a naming and delivery ceremony held March 28, according to a domestic shipping news report.

Each of the two vessels features 189.9m in length, 32.26m in molded breadth, and 15.7m in molded depth, with five cargo holds. They are designed to mainly transport dry bulk cargos like coal and metal ores, the report added.
