Exmar LPG has sold two mid-1990’s built vessels generating proceeds of $44m.

The joint venture between Exmar and Teekay LNG Partners is selling the 1995-built VLGC Flanders Tenacity and the mid-sized gas carrier Eeklo to undisclosed new owners raising $44m in net proceeds.

The vessels will be delivered to their new owners during June.

“The disposal of older tonnage is in line with the company’s strategy to continuously serve its first class customers with a quality modern competitive fleet,” Exmar said.
