Japan: MES Delivers Cargo Carrier ‘Siskin Arrow'

Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MES) completed and delivered a 72,800 dwt Cargo Carrier SISKIN ARROW on January 21, 2014.
This is the 4th vessel of its series which has a cargo hold capacity of more than 86,600 m3.
SISKIN ARROW is one of the largest open hatch general cargo carriers in the world with eight box-shaped cargo holds and four jib cranes for handling cargo.
The vessel is powered by a light and compact electronically controlled MITSUI-MAN B&W 5S60ME-C8 diesel engine complying with MARPOL NOx restriction for exhaust gas.
