At present, Zhoushan-based Jinhai Heavy Industry has ranked among world top ten and national top 3 in terms of orderbook.

In the first half of 2011, Jinhai successfully secured three orders respectively for 1+1 81,500 dwt bulker carriers, 2+2 VLCCs and 26 containership s of 3,000 TEU. The yard’s current orderbook could last to 2013, which is stable guarantee for its later development.

With Zhoushan New Area enjoying more preferential policies, more supporting funds and upgrading marine scientific research level, Jinahai is expected to boast more vitality to realize industrial structure upgrade and enhancing core competitiveness.
