Hebei Ocean Shipping Co has sent another of its old bulk carriers for scrapping.
It sent the 76,300 dwt Hebei Mercy (built 1985) to a shipbreaker in Bangladesh, cash buyer GMS reports.
The Hebei Mercy is the third large bulker scrapped by the Chinese owner in the past couple of months.
Hosco has disposed of both the 75,000 dwt Hebei Lion (built 1983) and the 237,000-dwt Hebei Innovator (built 1986) since the start of June
