Hyundai Mipo Dockyard announced through a regulatory filing on November 12 that the Korean shipbuilder had inked a newbuilding contract for six Product Carriers (PC) with a shipowner based in Marshall Islands.

The contract value comes at around KRW 222.1bn ($27.3bn) with a date of November 11, 2013, which is due July 31, 2015.

Inked in a dollar basis, newbuildings are said to cost around $208.8m in total, $34.80m apiece.
