Hyundai Mipo Dockyard revealed on October 23 that high-value special ship Juice carrier, the first vessel contracted by Atlanship of Swiss, was launched on October 19.

The 170m in length, 26m in breadth and 15.3m in height juice carrier, '8133', launched on the day, is equipped with five cargo holds and 14 independent cargo tanks.

Particularly, cargo tank in stainless to protect contamination by bacteria, etc., is constructed in insulated structure which enables maintaining low temperature (-10~0℃) with individual cooling system.

The vessel will go through outfitting work for three months after moving in to the quay, then it is scheduled to be delivered in early next year after completing sea trial, at last.

Since the Korean shipbuilder builds its first juice carrier, Hyundai Mipo made a various effort to complete high-quality of ship, such as having special training for piping/welding staffs, etc.
