China’s Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) turned out to have extended the expiration date of option to be exercised for a jack-up drilling platform signed with Prospector Offshore Drilling S.A.
SWS signed a contract for an option to build a jack-up drilling platform with Prospector Offshore Drilling S.A. in July, 2011, with the expiry by June 30, 2013, however the builder delayed the date till December, 30, 2013.
