Brodosplit Wins River Cruiser

Shipbuilding Industry Split Inc. (Brodosplit d.d.) signed a contract for building a river cruiser with the Premier Cruises Limited company from British Virgin Islands.
The vessel is passenger cruise ship intended for cruising along the Volga-Don inland Russian waterways with prevailing tours between Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The 105 meters length and 16 meters breadth ship will be able to accomodate on four decks 160 passengers in the 82 luxury equipped cabins, while the crew will have 39 cabins at their disposal, with 69 crew members.
Speed of 14 knots will ensure three high speed diesel propulsion engines and output of total 2200 kW. The vessel, to be built in accordance under survey of Rules and Regulations of the Russian River Register. The delivery is planned in first half of 2015.
This orders, after 25 years Brodosplit returns to the friendly Russian market. The positive trend of contracting new and good agreement for Brodosplit continues and brings additional arguments for a safely future, said Tomislav Debeljak, CEO of Brodosplit d.d.
