South Korea's Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction is said to have signed a letter of intent with Hong Kong's TS Lines early this month to build four 4,700-teu containerships for around $250m in total.
Hanjin recently announced it had signed LOIs with Asian shipowner for 4,700-teu newbuilding quartet.
Industry sources say the ship price is around $62m per ship for delivery from early 2013.
Meanwhile, the liner is also reportedly in talks to order four to six 1,800-teu ships at Taiwan's CSBC.
