Hyundai Samho Adds 9,000TEU's

Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries is said to have inked an order for two 9,000-teu containerships from a Singapore-based shipowner.
According to industry players, Hyundai Samho booked the two large containerships from Singapore-based and German-owned Asiatic Lloyd Shipping, for delivery in 2014. Newbuilding price is said to be around $81m apiece.
Meanwhile, the Korean shipyard is also appeared to have contracted two 9,000-teu boxships in April with International Maritime Enterprises of Greece.
Besides latest boxship deals, with massive orders contracted for LR2 product tankers this year, Hyundai Samho recorded orders totalling around $1.4bn as of the end of April, 2013.
