Hyundai Mipo Dockyard is tipped to sign an order for three supramax bulkers.
Sources said Atlantic Bulk Carriers Management of Greece is planning to book an order for three 57,000-dwt newbuilding bulkers at the Korean shipyard, with delivery due in 2015.
An official from the Greek shipowner says no contract has been signed, but the firm deal is expected to be finalized soon.
The newbuilding price has not been revealed, while industrial sources estimated newbuildings would cost in the range of $27m-27.5m apiece.
