A containership joint venture between Costamare and York Capital Management has been established.
Both parties will jointly make decisions on the JV’s transactions.
“With this agreement we complement our own purchasing power with that of our partner, allowing us to pursue opportunities of larger scale and cater to the increased needs of our clients,” said Costamare finance chief Gregory Zikos.
York is expected to enhance investors returns by operating the JV.
JV will be used exclusively for Costamare and York's containership purchases for a period of two years.
