By the end of April, Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd has firmed a newbuilding order for the construction of two 27,000dwt MPP vessels with Singapore owner PIL.
The new vessels features 179.5m in length, 27.2m in breadth, and 10.2m in design draft. The construction will be supervised by BV standards and are scheduled for delivery by June and September in 2014.
Kouan and PIL had been cooperated of a long term. Kouan built four 27,000dwt MPP units for PIL in August 2010 and laid the foundation for the new contract.
