Hyundai Mipo Dockyard of Korea has inked a deal for construction of a pair of MR PCs (Oil Product Carriers) additionally with Dong-A Tanker of Korea.
Both companies signed an agreement for two 50,000DWT PCs on February 4 and Dong-A has placed an additional order for two same type of vessels at Hyundai.
The two MR PCs lately awarded are slated for delivery in the first half of 2015 with the pair won formerly in January 2015.  
The newbuildings are said to cost around $32m per ship, to be constructed in Hyundai’s advanced design which is known to improve fuel-efficiency by 30% comparing with the standard of existing MR tanker.
