Yuexin Ocean Engineering has successfully signed a newbuilding contract for the construction of 2+2 65.0m AHTS vessels with the Indonesian owner Wintermar Offshore.
The new vessel is to be classified with ABS. It is said the ships will apply the preliminary design by FOCAL MARINE & OFFSHORE and be independently designed for construction by Yuexin.
The new vessel features 65m in length, 16m in breadth, 6.2m in depth, 5.0m in max draft and with an accommodation capacity of 50 people.
The designed speed is 13 knots and designed bollard pull about 80 tons. The new 1,5000dwt vessels will be able to carry 570 CBM of fuel oil, 300 CBM of fresh water, 370 CBM of mud and 170 CBM of dry bulk. The vessels will be outfitted with two 3000 HP NIIGATA diesel engines as the main engines and two dynamic positioning system.
