Hyundai Heavy Industries of Korea has won an order for a very large gas carrier (VLGC) from KSS Line of Korea.
An industry source says that Hyundai has finalized a contract for construction of an 84,000-cbm VLGC with KSS Line.
The cost of the newbuilding has not been disclosed, but industry players estimate it to be around $70m-$72m depending on its specification.

Meanwhile, the 84,000-cbm VLGC is subject to a long-term charter deal with Korean LPG provider, E1 Corp, on delivery.
