Navios Maritime Acquisition still has enough fund to add three more MR tankers.
Navios bought a pair of second-hand ships totalling $23.2m en bloc and three eco-design newbuildings, one 50,000-dwt costs around $34.3m while the other two 51,200-dwt value $31.5m apiece, last week.
The newbuilding resale deal is involved with two additional options.
RS Platou Markets says the Angeliki Frangou-led shipowner seems to have used up around $58m of the $100m it raised from shareholders ahead of the deal.

Which means, the analyst note, "Navios still has about $40m of the equity raise available to invest in for example three MR PCs."
