Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry has penned an order for three ultramax bulkers for the first time from a Japanese owner.
Sources said they won firm three and optional two order to build 64,000-dwt bulkers from an unnamed Japanese owner.
The China's privately-owned shipyard said the three newbuildings, valued in between $24m-25m a piece, will be delivered in 2015.
