Japan’s Kyokuyo Shipyard has inked a contract with a Greek shipowner, Harry Vafias group’s Brave Maritime, to construct two 7,200CBM LPG carriers.
The contract seems like the first deal with the Greek shipowner and the pressurized LPG carriers are said to cost around $22m per ship with delivery slated for the first half of 2014.
Moreover, an option for the same type of vessel seems to be included.
