Recently, Guangzhou-base Wenchong Shipyard has successfully won a newbuilding contract for the construction of three 32,000dwt bulkers from Transworld Group of Dubai. The total contract value is disclosed to be $7,700.
Transworld has taken delivery of one bulker “TBC Progress” from Guangzhou Wenchong in 2012. The Group is said to be expanding its bulker fleet after forming a new division, Transworld Bulk Carriers (TBC), to run its bulker fleet.
