China's state-owned Jiangnan Shipyard is reportedly nearing an order award for its first LNG carrier order.
CNOOC Energy and Technology Services is said to be planning to order up to two 30,000CBM small LNG carriers at the shipyard.
Newbuilding price is said to be around $80m each for the Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI) designed vessels.
CNOOC is also said to be planning to construct 16,000CBM LNG carriers.
