In November, Shanghai Ship Price Index averaged at 752.86, increasing 0.54% month-on-month. In the whole month, 323 vessels of 372,200dwt were reported to be traded at a total value of 510.0m with an average age of 8.4 years, declining by 0.3%, 35.7%, 60.3% and 2.1% respectively against last month.
According to the statistics, Wu hu Shipping Exchange Market finished secondhand ship transactions of 42 vessels of CNY47.80m; Yan Cheng Shipping Exchange finished transactions of 33 vessels of CNY25.87m; Shanghai Shipping Exchange witnessed 30 secondhand ship transactions of CNY67.40m; Besides, Zhejiang Shipping Exchange Market completed ship transactions of 8 vessels of CNY21.18m. Shipping Exchange markets in Tianjin, Qingdao, Hainan, Chaohu and other cities saw no transactions fulfilled.
In November, totally 118 bulkers of 255,234m dwt were traded at a value of CNY240.52m, rising by 2.18%, 42.38% and 70.37% separately against last month. Average unit tonnage reduced by 41.1% to 1,139dwt and average ship age reduced by 0.63% to 8.27 years month on month. Bulker ship price in the period declined mildly.
Secondhand tanker price increased in the period. Totally 19 tankers of 17,712dwt were traded at a value of CNY52.11m, increasing by 26.67%, 67.46%, 112.45% against last month respectively. Average tonnage and ship age rise by 32.2% and 45.1% to 933dwt and 9.51years separately.
