China's Jinhai Heavy Industry is said to have contracted one 90-meter jack-up platform.
The jack-up platform, 78.8m in length, 40m in breadth and 5.8m in height, will support repair or construction service at offshore fields. The platform has no particular large-size accommodation space.
Recently, Jinhai has been focussing on strengthening high-value businesses, such as offshore, LNG, LPG, semi-submersibles, etc.
Creating specialized teams on those segments, the Chinese shipyard is preparing for further advances into high-value business.
