Ukrainian shipyard Kherson is in talks with a Russian shipowner to build more tankers for the customer.
Russia’s SVL group is in discussions with the yard for up to five extra 6,980-dwt river-sea tankers.
The owner already has three sister ships of the same type on order at Kherson.
The tankers will be built to carry crude oil and products on a charter deal with TNK-BP.
