Enquiries for 10,000dwt – 20,000dwt bulkers and available ships for sales both increase greatly in the former two weeks, however, the desired low-price ship are rare. 20.000dwt and bigger secondhand bulker trading market remain depressed for most buyers choose to wait for lower prices. It is reported that a five-year 16,000dwt bulker built in Ningbo were transacted at a price of CNY21.5m.
In the period, price indices for five-year 5,000dwt bulker and three-year 16,500dwt bulkers rise against strong enquiries. Secondhand ship price index of 22,500dwt bulkers continue to decline and some owners begin to disposes ships at low price.

Market enquiries for containerships and MPVs increase in the period. Some buyers from South East Asia are looking for 3,000dwt – 5,000dwt or 200TEU – 400TEU units.
In offshore sector, enquiries for secondhand plants are limited. Only few buyers enquire about 3,000dwt deck barge.
