China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC) has officially won an order for four very large crude carriers.
The state-owned asset supervision and administration commission announced that state-run shipping company COSCO had inked four tankers at the state-owned shipyard group.
Further details about the deal was not available.
Meanwhile, earlier in October COSCO Dalian has ordered three 308,000-dwt tankers at Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) with two optional units.
The newbuildings are scheduled to be built at CSSC Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding at around $90m per ship.
