Wilh Wilhelmsen is expected to announce newbuilding orders during the coming months.
Danske Markets forecasted that the Oslo-listed owner would aim to increase its market share upon delivery in 2014.
However, Danske predicted that 2014 will see undersupplied of tonnage in the car carrier market, considering that Wihelmsen has been absent on newbuilding investment, while its rivals, such as Glovis, Eukor, Zodiac, Ray, etc., have been ordering.
Meanwhile, sources reported recently that Wihelmsen and partner Wallenius were eyeing newbuildings and having talks with shipyards.
