In Mid-September, Hainan-based China Shipping Haisheng Co., Ltd’s wholly-owned subsidiary company Shanghai Jinhai Shipping signed the contract for the sale of MV Jinhaishun for scarpping with Fujian Haofa Shipping. The contract value is about CNY5.01m.
Jinhaishun is a 5,470 chemical tanker with China flag. The vessel is already 28 years old and close to the mandatory scrapping age for chemical tankers.
