Malaysian tanker owner AET has ordered two DP-2 shuttle tanker newbuildings in Korea.
The owner ordered the vessels through AET Sea Shuttle AS, a joint venture with shipmanager OSM.
The purpose-built, 120,000-dwt shuttle tankers will be deployed on an up to 20-year contract with Norwegian oil major Statoil.
Name of the Korean shipbuilder and the price tag have not been disclosed.
