Shiptec China, the new brand developed from Shiport China, is dedicated to continue serving the maritime industry since the year of 2010. The mission of Shiport China, established in 1998 and developed through the past twelve years, will be carried on.
In 2010, its previous edition, Shiptec China, attracted 436 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions on an exhibition area of 20,300 square meters. More than 12,800 visitors were recorded during the 3 days exhibition cum forums, academic conference and seminars. This represents a 15% increase in the number of visitors, reflecting that more and more attention was being drawn from the world maritime industry. The scale of the show has grown increasingly larger, as well as the scope of products on display.
Shiptec China is scheduled to take place 23 - 26 October 2012 at Dalian World Expo Center in Dalian, the beautiful seashore city renown for its shipbuilding industry and geographic shipping advantages. Shiptec China will be the largest and most influential maritime industry fair in North China, and it will be playing a much more important role to link up different sectors and industry players of ports, shipping and shipbuilding and to drive a healthy and sustained development of the world maritime industry.
