Newbuilding resale bulker prices are still softening and keep falling.
A 58,000-dwt China-built supramax newbuilding was sold in a resale deal at $22m, brokers report.
The Rosanna D is under construction at Yangzhou shipyard in China. It has been reported sold to an unknown buyer for $22m with delivery scheduled for next month.
Most recently the resale of two 58,000-dwt supramaxes under construction at Zhejiang Jingang shipyard in China was linked to Laskaridis Shipping for delivery this month and the next at a price of $22.5m each.
The value of the Rosanna D was estimated at $31.2m by VesselsValue at the beginning of this year but it plummeted during the course of the year.
