China: Ship Export 3.1% down from Jan. to Jul.

According to China Customs, the total ship export value of the first seven months recorded at $24.27bn, declining by 3.1% year on year; the total ship import value stood at $1.26b, 9.9% up against the same period of last year. The total value of ship export and import value came up to $25.53bn, 2.7% down on year on year basis.
In July, ship export declined by 27.8% to a total value of $3.20bn and ship import value increased by 29.2% to a total of $0.17bn. Both export and import value has witness different declines against last month.
The annual ship export is likely to continue the downturn and see significant drop by the end of the year.
