"OK 2012" Coming!
Korea's first offshore plant specialized exhibition OFFSHORE KOREA 2012 is predicted to be successfully held.
OK 2012 is to be hosted from November 14-16 at BEXCO, Busan.
As of August 24, 197 offshore-plant related companies from 18 countries with overall 660 booths have agreed to participate, including Korea's major shipyards, as well as about 90 overseas advanced offshore plant equipment manufacturers, such as Aker Solutions, Cameron, National Oilwell Varco, GE Energy, FMC Technologies, Thrustermaster, etc.
There will be over five of national pavilions, including Denmark, Europe, UK, Germany, Turkey, etc., and the proportion of overseas companies reaches almost 50%.
According to four main hosts, including the Busan Marine Equipment Association (BMEA), there will be briefing sessions about how to enlist as vendor by inviting officials from global oil majors, such as BP, Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Total, etc., and one-to-one counseling sessions with overseas companies hoping to enter into Korean market for technical sourcing, a forum regarding investment in Korea, etc.
