Crowley Maritime Corp could order more Jones Act product tankers.
It recently bought two newbuildings from Aker Philadelphia Shipyard.
Robert Grune, vice president of the company, said that additional purchases would likely be driven by the demands of BP, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Chevron, etc.
"We are a service-based company and we are not speculative," he added. "We meet the requirements of our customer base."
