China's state-owned Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co (DSIC) has won a new order for four 3,800-teu boxships from Singapore's Pacific International Lines (PIL).
Newbuilding price is said to be in excess of $40m per ship, with some reporting it is closer to $43m each.
The design is understood to be wide-beam, shallow-draught vessels for the liner trades between Asia and Africa.
Delivery is reportedly between the end of 2014 and 2015.
