Nam Cheong has agreed to sell a 3,000 dwt platform supply vessel to an unrevealed West Africa-based company.
Singapore-listed Nam Cheong will also construct a pair of anchor handlers (AHTS) for two separate customers.
The company will pocket a shade under $44m for all three newbuildings.
One of the 62-tbp AHTS vessels has gone to a Norway-based customer, while the other AHTS vessel was sold to an established customer based in the Middle East.
All three are part of Nam Cheong’s speculative built-to-stock series of vessels and are scheduled for delivery between the fourth quarter of 2012 and first quarter of 2013 from its subcontracted yard in China.
These latest wins bring Nam Cheong’s total orderbook to MYR 912m.
